Hauler App Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the JunkRabbit Haulers app collects and how we use it. It covers the hauler (driver/crew) app only; customers are covered by our main privacy policy.

Information we collect

• Account info — your name, email, phone number, business name, and service areas, which you provide when you sign up or that our team sets up for you.
• Location — while you are actively assigned to a job and traveling to it, the app collects your device's precise location, including in the background, to share a live ETA with the customer. Location is only collected during an active "on the way / on site" job and stops when the job ends. It is never collected when you are off the clock.
• Photos — pickup/proof-of-service photos you choose to take or attach.
• Device & push token — a push notification token so we can alert you to new jobs and messages, plus basic device/app information for reliability.
• Job activity — the jobs you accept, complete, and are paid for.

How we use it

• Assign, route, and manage your jobs.
• Share your live location/ETA with the specific customer whose job you are en route to.
• Send you push notifications about new jobs and messages.
• Record proof of service and process your payouts.

How we share it

• With customers — your first name and live ETA for the job you're assigned to.
• Payment processor — Stripe, to pay you out.
• We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for third-party advertising.

Your choices

• You control location, camera, and notification permissions in your device settings. Turning location off disables live-ETA sharing but you can still work jobs.
• Delete your account — in the app, go to Account → Delete account. This closes your account and logs you out. We retain limited job and payout records as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as required afterward for legal and accounting reasons. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is restricted to authorized personnel.
