The brownstone walk-ups are the classic UWS couch problem: a wide sofa, a narrow stair, and a turn at the landing. The crew turns and tips it, and where it won't go, removes legs, feet, and backs or splits a sectional into its pieces — included, no upcharge. For the co-ops, even a one-couch pickup usually needs a Certificate of Insurance to the managing agent and a booked freight slot, which we send within the hour.
