New couch is being delivered Saturday morning. Where's the old one going to go? On the curb (illegal) or down the stairs by yourself (no)? We come Friday and take it for $174.

Upload Photo & Get Quote →It's a Wayfair box. Or an Article delivery. Or West Elm. Whoever's bringing the new couch will not haul the old one (most stores stopped doing that years ago, and the ones who do charge $100 and a tip). NYC put 'curb pickup' on its 'maybe sometime soon' list. You can't move the old one yourself — it weighs 220 pounds and has to go down three flights of stairs.
That's us. We come the day before your new couch (or same day before delivery), take the old one out, and you have an empty space ready for the new sectional. $174 flat. No "oh this one is heavier than expected" markup. Two-person crew, in and out in 20 minutes.

Yes. We can schedule a 2-hour window so you have time between us leaving and the new couch arriving. Or come the day before if you're cool sleeping with no couch for one night.
Sometimes. If your building is a 4+ floor walk-up, we add a small stairs fee — usually $30–50 — quoted upfront before you confirm. Never a surprise.
If it's in decent shape, yes. NYC has solid donation partners for clean furniture. If it's stained, ripped, or sagging, it goes to responsible disposal.
