Upload Photos & Get Quote →Edgemere occupies the stretch of the Rockaway peninsula between Far Rockaway and Arverne, and it's visibly a neighborhood mid-change. Brand-new single-family and small multi-family construction has gone up next to older houses, apartment buildings, and lots that are still being rebuilt — much of it part of the long arc of recovery and reinvestment since the area was hit hard by past storms. The result is a real mix of housing, and the work follows the mix.
On one side, there's construction: new builds and gut renovations generate demolition debris, old cabinets and flooring, drywall, and contractor leftovers, which we clear by volume (priced per cubic yard) and load at the curb or driveway. On the other, there are full clearances of older homes — emptied before a sale, a renovation, or a teardown — furniture, appliances, and decades of belongings cleared in one visit.
The newer homes typically have driveways or pads for a direct loadout, and the apartment buildings are standard unit clear-outs with a short carry to the truck. It all runs at flat pricing — no surcharge for the floor, the building type, or the peninsula distance.
