Roughly two-thirds of DUMBO's residential addresses are in converted late-1800s and early-1900s warehouse buildings: the Clock Tower (1 Main Street), the Sweeney Building, the Gair Building, 70 Washington, 168 Plymouth, Powerhouse, the various Jay Street conversions. Each was converted at a different time by different developers, and each has slightly different managing-agent and elevator protocols.
