Piano District loft and studio clear-outs, Bruckner Boulevard warehouse and light-manufacturing cleanouts, and the new Harlem River waterfront residential. Loading-dock and freight-friendly crews. Spanish on request.
Photo of the load — for a warehouse or studio, a wide shot is enough to price the truck-fill
Upload Photos & Get Quote →Port Morris is the industrial toe of the South Bronx — the wedge below Bruckner Boulevard between the Major Deegan and the Bronx Kill, wrapping around to the Harlem River. It is still a genuinely working district: light manufacturing, food distribution, metal and building-supply yards, and the old piano-factory blocks that gave the rebranded "Piano District" its name. Over the last decade those brick factory buildings have been converting — artist studios, event spaces, breweries, and a wave of new residential towers along the waterfront. Junk here is rarely a single sofa; it is volume.
That mix means most Port Morris jobs are truck-fill priced from a photo, not per-item. A warehouse trimming dead stock, a studio tenant moving out, a converted loft being cleared between tenants, a small manufacturer closing — these are quarter-truck to full-truck loads, and almost every building has a loading dock or freight elevator, which makes them fast.
The newer waterfront apartments are the exception — standard residential furniture and appliance removal, handled through the building's freight elevator. Spanish-speaking crew available on request across Port Morris and neighboring Mott Haven.
What the engine quotes. No "industrial-zone rate," no "loading-dock surcharge," no fabricated warehouse aggregate. For volume loads we quote by truck-fill from a photo.

"Cleared out our old warehouse stock off Bruckner in one afternoon — pallets, broken shelving, the lot. Quoted straight off a photo, priced by the truck, no surprises."
"Moving out of my Piano District studio. They took the big frames and a workbench down the freight elevator without a scratch. Way easier than I expected."
"Had a fridge and an old sofa to get rid of from the new building by the water. Booked from a photo, hauler came the next day. Clean."
