East New York is Brooklyn's easternmost neighborhood, bordering Queens at the City Line. It's one of NYC's larger residential neighborhoods by area, covering the blocks from East New York Avenue (west) east to the City Line at Eldert Lane, and from Broadway Junction (north) south to Linden Boulevard and the Spring Creek wetlands. The neighborhood is divided informally into northern East New York (around Atlantic Avenue and the NYCHA towers) and southern East New York (south of Atlantic, more detached two-family stock).
