With Fordham University right at the southern edge, the neighborhood also runs on a college-town rhythm, and a steady share of our work here is student turnover at term changes.
The buildings set the terms. Most are walk-ups with original staircases, so multi-flight carry-downs are the norm — and there's no walk-up surcharge, so a fourth-floor pickup costs the same as a ground-floor one. Anything too wide for the staircase gets disassembled in place. A few of the larger elevator buildings ask for a Certificate of Insurance, which we email to the managing office within the hour.
Beyond the Fordham move-outs — futons, mattresses, IKEA furniture, mini-fridges, roommate leftovers — there's the usual apartment work: longtime residents clearing accumulated furniture, landlord turnovers between tenants, and single bulky-item pickups. We stage the truck close on the side streets off the Concourse and keep the carry quick.

Yes — term-change move-outs are a big part of our Bedford Park work. Book a same-day or scheduled window and we'll clear the futon, beds, mattresses, mini-fridge, and roommate leftovers, timed to your move-out.
Yes — for the larger Bedford Park buildings that require it, we email a $1M general-liability COI to the managing office within about an hour and use the service elevator. The walk-ups need no COI.
When items are in donation condition, we'll coordinate or point you to a Housing Works pickup so usable furniture gets a second life, and haul the rest responsibly.
