Moving cross-country — can't bring furniture Brooklyn

Shipping a $400 sectional across the country costs $1,200. The math doesn't work. We come before move day and take everything you're not flying with — fixed price, one trip.

Pre-move cross-country cleanout in Brooklyn from $174. Couch, bed, dressers, dining set, electronics. We take what doesn't make the cross-country move. Donate where we can, dispose properly otherwise.

How we help

You got the job in Austin. Or LA. Or Chicago. You're moving in three weeks. The cross-country moving company quoted you $7,000 to take everything and you nearly fell off the chair. The math is clear — most of the furniture cost less than it would cost to ship it. You're flying with a suitcase, your laptop, and your favorite books. Everything else has to go.

We come the week of (or the day before) your move. You point at what's flying with you (probably a small pile). We take everything else — couch, bed, dressers, dining set, kitchen stuff, books. Donate where we can. The apartment is empty by move day.

Frequently asked

Can you come the day before my move?

Yes. That's the most common timing. You sleep on a mattress on the floor (or the air mattress) the last night, the airport rideshare comes in the morning, and you fly out to an empty apartment behind you.

Will you donate the furniture?

Yes — anything in good shape. NYC has great donation networks. We can give you a receipt for taxes if you want.

What about the IKEA stuff that's three years old?

Most of it goes to disposal honestly — IKEA particle board doesn't survive a second move. We handle it responsibly.
