Upload Photos & Get Quote →Parkchester is a 1940s Metropolitan Life Insurance planned community — 51 red-brick mid-rise buildings on 129 acres east of the Bronx River, between Westchester Avenue and Unionport Road. The complex splits into two halves: the East Quadrant (south of Metropolitan Avenue) and the West Quadrant. Inside, the roads are mostly pedestrian-only — the central oval at Metropolitan Oval is a closed-loop courtyard, and most interior streets are no-vehicle except for resident loading. Every building has a freight elevator, and Parkchester Preservation (the managing entity) requires a Certificate of Insurance from any vendor before they touch the freight.
Our workflow: you book, we send the COI to Parkchester Preservation the night before, you reserve the freight elevator window with your super (typically 30-minute slots). The truck stages on Metropolitan Avenue or East Avenue — never on the interior pedestrian streets — and the crew dollies the item out via the freight.
Parkchester has one of the largest Bengali-American populations in NYC. Bangla-speaking crew available on request — and the surrounding Castle Hill / Westchester Square blocks add a substantial Puerto Rican and Dominican household base, so Spanish is the default second language.
What the engine quotes. No "doorman / freight-elevator surcharge," no fabricated co-op tier. COIs to Parkchester Preservation included.

"Uploaded a photo of my old couch and had a quote in literally 7 seconds. Hauler showed up same day. Way cheaper than 1-800-GOT-JUNK."

"Had a fridge and washer to get rid of. They handled the heavy lifting from my 4th floor walk-up. Price was exactly what the quote said."
