Where do you stage the trucks?
Most BPC towers have a service road or loading dock on the east side (away from the Hudson). We stage at the loading bay where allowed; otherwise on the cross-streets (Albany, Vesey, Murray, West Thames, Rector). The Battery Park Esplanade is pedestrian-only.
Same-day pickup in BPC?
Usually yes — book by 11am. The constraint is the freight-elevator reservation, which is sometimes the same-day blocker. Doorman buildings will tell you if the freight is available.
Battery Park City is Manhattan's most planned residential neighborhood — built on landfill from the World Trade Center excavation in the 1970s and 80s, with a strict master plan and unusually consistent architecture. Every building has a freight elevator and a managing agent who requires a Certificate of Insurance from any vendor.
Our workflow: you book, we send the COI to building management the night before, your super reserves the freight elevator window. We stage trucks on the east-side cross-streets (Albany, Vesey, Murray, West Thames, Rector, North End) since the Battery Park Esplanade and most of the residential interior is pedestrian-only.
The neighborhood housing mix is high-end professional households — finance, law, tech, residents with strong household incomes. Mid-volume turnover concentrates around bonus-season moves (March-April).
