JunkRabbit picks up dressers, tables, desks, bookcases, wardrobes, and bed frames across NYC — co-op COIs emailed to the managing agent, walk-up carry-downs with no stair fee, freight-elevator tower pickups, heavy basement carry-ups, and free disassembly of anything that won't fit through the door. Pick your neighborhood below for the local detail, or get an instant photo quote now. Flat per-item pricing everywhere: a standard dresser is $169, a bookcase $97, the same in any borough and on any floor — and free take-apart of bed frames, modular desks, and oversized pieces is always included.

Upload a Photo & Get Quote →However your building works, the price is the same — we charge by the piece, not by floor or borough. Pre-war co-op with a managing-agent COI and a service elevator, fifth-floor walk-up with a dresser that won't fit the stairwell, doorman tower with a reserved freight elevator, or a two-family house with a basement full of old furniture: there's no walk-up surcharge, no high-rise fee, no elevator fee, and no borough modifier. A standard dresser is $169 and a large/double $199; a chest of drawers is $106, a nightstand $77, a bookcase $97, a wardrobe/armoire $165, a china hutch $215, a 2–4 seat dining table $138 (6–8 seat $174), a coffee table $84, an end table $70, a standard desk $112 (L-shaped $139), a bed frame $92, and an armchair $104. Free disassembly of bed frames, modular desks, sectional wardrobes, and anything oversized is part of the price — so it clears the doorway, stairwell, or freight elevator. Solid wood and usable pieces go to a donation partner where we can; the rest is recycled or disposed of responsibly. $75 minimum.
