The crew arrives in the booking window with a 30-minute ETA text. Walk-up tenements (LES, East Village, West Village, Harlem, Washington Heights, Hell's Kitchen) — we disassemble in the bedroom enough to clear the stair turns; an 80-degree 2nd-floor landing on a Lower East Side building is routine. Prewar elevator co-ops (UES, UWS, Murray Hill) — we send the COI to your managing agent before the day-of, your super reserves the freight elevator window. Doorman buildings on the avenues — same workflow.
Disassembly is included in the $112 flat. We bring an impact driver, hex/Allen set, and socket wrenches. Standard metal frames come apart in 5-10 minutes; bolted wood frames with cross-slats take longer. If a frame is too large or oddly bolted, the crew rebuilds the breakdown plan on site — but the price doesn't change.
