Will you empty the drawers?
You should empty the drawers before pickup — we don't sort personal belongings. If the dresser has soft contents (clothes), we can bag and haul those as part of the same booking (light load, no extra charge if the dresser is the only item).
Disassembly for tight stair turns?
If your dresser won't clear the stair turn, we remove the drawers and back panel to slim it down. Included in the flat rate.
Same-day dresser removal in Manhattan?
Usually yes — book by 4 PM for same-day; morning bookings typically land an afternoon window. Doorman/elevator buildings may push to next-day depending on freight-window availability.
Empty the drawers before pickup — we don't sort personal items. The crew arrives in the booking window, removes the drawers for the haul, and walks the carcass out. For tight stair turns (LES, East Village, West Village tenements with 80-degree second-floor landings) we also pop the back panel and the side rails if needed. Disassembly is included in the flat $169 / $199.
Doorman / freight-elevator buildings on the UES, UWS, Murray Hill, Midtown — we send the COI to your managing agent at no charge. Your super reserves the freight window. Disassembly typically isn't needed once the dresser clears the freight-elevator opening.
